Refund Policy

Last updated 30 September 2026. This Refund Policy applies to the CertRoll one-time digital unlock sold on certroll.femuo.com by Femuo. It sits next to the Terms and Privacy. Preview PDFs are free; this page is about the paid key.

1. What you buy

CertRoll sells a one-time digital unlock (shown as $10 USD unless checkout shows a different live price). The unlock drops the watermark, and opens logo placement, custom artwork, and CSV batches of up to 100 names. You receive a license key in the browser. There is no physical shipment and no account inbox.

2. Unused unlock — short window

If you paid and the license was never applied on a browser, and you have not completed an unmarked single PDF or a bulk (ZIP) export, you may ask for a refund within 14 days of payment.

“Never applied” means you did not paste the key into Unlock, and this browser was not left unlocked after checkout. If we can see an active license tied to your payment order ID and you already used unmarked export, section 3 applies instead.

3. After you unlock or export — generally no refund

Once the key is applied or this browser is unlocked after payment, and you have downloaded an unmarked file or used bulk export, the purchase is generally non-refundable. The product is a digital good delivered immediately. We cannot pull back PDFs that were generated on your computer.

We will still refund or adjust a charge where applicable law requires it, or where checkout failed and no usable license was issued.

4. Failed or duplicate payments

If you were charged and never received a license key, or you were charged twice for the same order, contact us with the payment order ID. We will confirm against our license table (license key, order ID, product code cert-bulk, timestamp) and the payment processor record, then refund the extra or complete the unlock.

5. How to request a refund

Write to the operator through certroll.femuo.com. Include:

• the payment order ID shown after checkout;
• the date and amount;
• whether you applied the key or exported unmarked files;
• why you are asking.

Do not attach roster CSVs or certificate PDFs. This version does not offer email license recovery; a refund request is not a way to have the key mailed to you.

We aim to answer refund requests within a few business days. Approved refunds are sent back through the same payment processor(s), including PayPal and Paddle. Timing after we issue the refund depends on that processor and your institution.

6. Chargebacks

Ask us first. A chargeback filed while a license is active, or after unmarked files were exported, may lead us to revoke the key and to contest the claim with the processor. If you lost the key, try the Unlock page with the key or order ID before disputing the charge — we cannot email it, but the server-side row may still restore this product.

7. Other Femuo products

This policy covers CertRoll only. A refund or chargeback on CertRoll does not affect a separate Inkvoice, Rentslip, or Shot purchase, and those sites have their own terms.

8. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top is the latest version. Requests are handled under the policy in effect on the day you paid, unless the law requires a kinder rule.
