Terms of Service

Last updated 30 September 2026. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of CertRoll at certroll.femuo.com, operated by Femuo (“we”, “us”). By using the site, generating files, or paying for an unlock, you agree to these Terms and to the Privacy and Refund policies.

1. Acceptance

If you do not agree, do not use CertRoll and do not pay. You must be able to form a binding contract and, if you use CertRoll for an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization.

2. The product

CertRoll is a browser-based certificate press. Preview PDFs stay free and carry a watermark. A one-time unlock (shown as $10 USD at checkout unless the live price on the site says otherwise) removes the watermark on this product, and opens logo placement, custom artwork, and CSV batches of up to 100 names.

The unlock is a digital product. After payment, we show a license key in the browser. That key, plus the payment order ID, is how this browser — or another browser you restore later — stays unlocked. There is no account and no email recovery in this version. Keep a copy of the key.

A CertRoll license does not unlock other Femuo tools.

3. License scope

Payment grants a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the CertRoll generator (product code cert-bulk) to produce layout files for your workshops, bootcamps, training desks, and similar events. You may keep and send the PDFs you generate.

You do not receive exclusive rights to the built-in plates. You keep whatever rights you already have in names, course lines, logos, and custom artwork you supply. Do not upload or paste material you are not allowed to use.

4. Not a credential

Every certificate is a layout file, not an academic credential, diploma, degree, transcript, professional license, or government-issued document. The PDF footer says so. You are responsible for how you describe and use the files you generate. Do not present CertRoll output as a regulated qualification.

5. Your files, your responsibility

PDFs are generated in your browser. Roster names, logos, and artwork are not uploaded to CertRoll servers. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you type or drop in, for who receives the files, and for any claim you attach to them. We do not review, notarize, accredit, or archive your certificates.

6. Payment and license keys

Checkout is handled by our payment processor(s), including PayPal and Paddle. We do not see your full card number. After a successful capture we store a license key, a payment order ID, the product code cert-bulk, and a timestamp so we can honor the unlock. Details are in the Privacy Policy.

Refunds, unused keys, and chargebacks are covered by the Refund Policy. Chargebacks filed without first asking us may lead us to revoke the license.

7. Acceptable use

You may not use CertRoll to:

• fake diplomas, degrees, professional licenses, identity papers, or government certificates;
• mislead a school, employer, regulator, or the public about what a file is;
• attack, scrape, or overload the site, or probe payment and license endpoints;
• resell the unlock as a shared service, or circulate a license key as a public download;
• violate applicable law.

We may refuse, suspend, or revoke a license if we reasonably believe these rules were broken.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

CertRoll is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, that every PDF will match every printer, or that the service is fit for a particular accreditation purpose. Preview marks, layout, and export limits may change as we ship fixes.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Femuo and CertRoll are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or reputational harm, arising from the site or from files you generate. Our total liability for a claim relating to CertRoll is limited to the amount you paid us for the unlock that gave rise to the claim, or ten US dollars if you have not paid.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence where such a limit is void.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms. The date at the top is the latest version. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms. If you paid already, the license you bought still unlocks unmarked exports on this product unless we have to revoke it under Acceptable use.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the applicable law of the place of business of the operator (Femuo), without regard to conflict-of-law rules. If a court finds one clause unenforceable, the rest still applies. Informal resolution first: contact the operator through certroll.femuo.com and include your payment order ID. This version does not publish a support inbox and cannot email a lost license.
